Sharvari is a visiting faculty teaching Vedanta Philosophy at Mumbai University. She has a Masters degree in Sanskrit specializing in Vedanta from the University of Mumbai, India. She even has a Diploma and Bachelors degree in Sanskrit where she was one of the toppers of her course. With an overall teaching experience of 7 years, she has taught Sanskrit to a wide range of students from various cultural backgrounds.

What will I exactly learn from this workshop?

This workshop will introduce you to the basics of the Sanskrit language. You will get an idea about what exactly the sentence structure of Sanskrit is and will be able to make short meaningful sentences on your own.

What is the procedure to join the workshop?

Once you confirm your participation by paying the fee for the workshop, you will be added to a WhatsApp group where all the details will be communicated. One day before we start the classes, there will be an orientation session on Zoom where we will tell you in detail about accessing workshop resource materials, joining the classes, accessing recorded sessions, etc.

Where the classes are conducted?

The classes will be conducted on the Zoom Meetings app/software.

What is the schedule of the class?

This is a one-week workshop. The classes will happen from Monday to Friday - all five days of the week. The start date and class schedule are given above on this page.

How will my doubts get solved?

At the end of each session, we will be allocating some time for doubt solving.

What if I miss a class? What if I don't have time to join the live session?

The classes will be recorded and made available for later viewing for the duration of 6-month through our website.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes, every participant will get a participation certificate.

Will there be an exam?

Yes, we will conduct a short test towards the end of each session which will help you test your understanding.

Are there any prerequisites to attend this course?

There are no prerequisites. This workshop is for absolute beginners.

I don't know Hindi language, can I join?

Yes, you are welcome to join. There are no prerequisites for this course.

Is it necessary to join the WhatsApp group?

Yes, WhatsApp will be the primary source of communication. All the links, resources, and notifications will be shared on WhatsApp first. The necessary links and resources will be shared on email as well time to time.

I'm a Western/non-Indian learner and don't know any Indian language, can I join this workshop?

Yes, you are welcome to join. The class notes or study materials provided are given in both Roman script/English and Devanagari script of Sanskrit.

For what age group this workshop is for?

Anyone above the age of 10 can join this workshop.

Can I read Bhagavad Gita and Vedas after this workshop?

No, this workshop is for absolute beginners and you will only be introduced to the basics of the Sanskrit language.

Is there any book that will be provided with this course?

We provide the class notes in PDF format. We will send you a list of recommended books that you can purchase once the classes start.

What will be the medium of instruction?

The medium of instruction is English. We will be starting separate workshop batches for Hindi and Marathi as mediums of instruction.

How can I continue learning after this workshop?

On the last day of the workshop, we will send you a list of reference books that you can buy and details of our advanced level workshops/courses.

Can I get a demo class?

No, the demo class is not available. This is just a short workshop for beginners which will be there for a week.

Can I get a refund?

No, the workshop fee is non-refundable.
