What the participants say...!

I wish to thank you for the wonderful Spoken Sanskrit course. I liked the structure and content of the course very much. The teacher also conducted the course in a brilliant manner. I have been associated with foreign language studies since the early-mid 1980s. I often was unhappy with the Indian language teaching for non-native students (be it day-to-day languages or Sanskrit). I find your efforts commendable, and wish to thank you for that.

- Shrirang Mirajkar, from September 2023 Batch
Interactive nature of the course with daily relevant home work (which was meticulously corrected - very important). Professor Sharvari ji 's excellent teaching abilities, patience with a smile and her obvious love of teaching as a profession. Course structure nicely and thoughtfully organized.

- Kashyap N.Thakore, from May 2026 Batch
The course was very interactive which is very necessary for learning any language. The teacher took a lot of initiative to involve every participant. The class notes were very useful in revising what has been taught and learnt.

- P R Chandrasekharan, from April 2026 Batch
Now I can read Sanskrit shloka. So for me course is most useful and valuable.

- Abhay Arvind Joshi, from April 2026 Batch
The Practice exercises, where each of us got a chance to speak in rotation. Being able to implement and speak in small Sanskrit sentences was very motivating!

- Dipti Dhankani, from February 2021 Batch
This was the 1st time I have tried learning Sanskrit and it was done in a very student friendly way. The notes were very useful and will serve us always while practicing.

- Manisha Arte, from February 2021 Batch
Sharvari Mam has explained every topic very nicely, I told her that if this was the way of teaching when we were in school, things would have been different - I may haev done post-graduation in Sanskrit! Anyway, better late than never. Thanks a lot Open Pathshala!

- Anuradha Bhandarkar, from May 2026 Batch
