This course - Introduction to the Paninian Grammar offers an overview of the architecture of the Astadhyayi of Panini as well as the whole Indian grammar tradition. As is well known, the Ashtadhyayi is the most complete grammar of Sanskrit composed in approximately 4th century BCE which is considered a great work of human intelligence. The main aim of this course is to introduce the structure of Ashtadhyayi and richness of the Indian linguistic tradition for those who are not Sanskrit scholars but are curious to know about the scientific literature in Sanskrit.
