Sanskrit is home to Hindu, Buddhist and Jain religious texts
Language is mode of communication and knowledge transfer. It can not be particularly linked with any religion. Language is a subset of a culture.

Even though primarily Hindu religious texts are found in Sanskrit, it is also home to ancient Buddhist and Jain literature.

Sanskrit is not just related to religious texts but it has huge treasure of knowledge based texts like Ayurveda, Arthashastra, Leelavati (maths), Nagarjuna's Rasayanshastra (chemistry), Varahamihir’s Brihat-Samhita (astrology), Arthashastra (Polity).

So, it will be unfair to call and identify Sanskrit as language of Hinduism only and ignoring so many other areas where it has been used. Sanskrit language unlocks thousand of years of knowlege and history of Indian culture.
