There are several major language families in the world. One of them is Indo-European language family.
In Indo-European there are ten sub-families. Sanskrit comes from the Indo Iranian clan of languages. So we cannot say, Sanskrit is a mother of all languages but If you see in India , Sanskrit is origin of most Indic languages except Dravidian languages because their origin is different. So factually it is incorrect to call Sanskrit as a mother of all languages from linguistics perspective. There is no specific mother language of all.
