अध्यापकः (adhyāpakaḥ) /
अध्यापकः (adhyāpakaḥ) / अध्यापिका (adhyāpikā)।
Male teacher is called (अध्यापकः) and female teacher is called (अध्यापिका) in Sanskrit. गुरः (guraḥ), शिक्षकः (śikṣakaḥ) / शिक्षिका (śikṣikā) are the synonyms for teacher.
