Preservation of Sanskrit
Sanskrit is an ancient and well structured language. It has been preserved culturally as well as technologically from the ancient times and the preservation process still continues.

Sanskrit has types of literature, one is before Panini and the second is after Panini. Vedic Sanskrit was not well structured so Panini wrote all formulas/rules of Grammar and gave structure to Sanskrit.
After Panini, Katyayana and Patanjali made additions to Panini's work and refined it even further.

Nalanda and Takshashila had a huge treasure trove of Sanskrit literature. Unfortunately, it was lost in the course of time.

In recent times Sanskrit vocabulary has been absorbed by many Indian languages and Sanskrit language lives through them.

Though Sanskrit is not as widely used as English, Hindi, or other popular languages, it is taught in school, Universities to Students.

Historians, scholars, and researchers use Sanskrit language for finding original references to their research work.

The original, well-preserved Sanskrit texts can be found as the Sanskrit manuscripts, palm leaves, and metal inscriptions sometimes even found etched upon Temples and Historic Hindu monuments or in the Libraries.

Various softwares and programs are being made that give out tables of words and verbs in Sanskrit. Sandhi splitter and joiner softwares have been developed. Various online courses and study materials are coming up for Sanskrit language which will help to preserve/document it even longer.
