            bhārate bahavaḥ utsavāḥsanti parantubhāratadeśe sarveṣuutsaveṣu dīpāvalī mahān utsavaḥvartate।yadābhagavān śrīrāmaḥrāvaṇasyavadhaṁ kr̥tvā lakṣmaṇenatathāsītayāsahaayodhyāṁ pratyāgatavāntadāayodhyāvāsinaḥetam utsavam ārabdhavantaḥitiākhyāyikāprasiddhā ।dīpānāmāvaliḥitidīpāvalī।eṣaḥ bhāratīyānāṁpriyotsavaḥ asti।eṣaḥ utsavaḥāśvinamāsasya dvādaśītaḥkārtikamāsasya dvitīyāparyantambhavati। dīpāvalyāṁsarvejanāḥnūtanāni vastrāṇi dhārayanti | gr̥he sarve militvāmiṣṭānnaṁ khādanti। mahilāḥgr̥hāt bahiḥ raṅgavallīmālikhanti।gr̥he lakṣmyāḥ pūjanaṁkurvanti । bālāḥ sphoṭakānāṁ sphoṭanaṁ kurvanti। janāḥ svamitrāṇisvajanānca sammilanti abhivādayanti ca। janāḥ nūtanāni vastūni krīṇanti। sarve dīpāvalyām ānanditāḥ prasannāḥ ca bhavanti।



Diwali :-
  
       There are so many festivals in India but amongst all, Diwali is a great festival. The famous fable tells us that when god Shreerama killed Ravana and returned Ayodhya with Seeta and Lakshmana the people of Ayodhya celebrated and started this festival. Dipawali word means a row of light. This is the most famous and favorite festival of Indians. This festival starts on the 12th day of the month of Ashwin and ends on the 2nd day of the month of Kartik. All Indians wear new clothes on the occasion of Diwali. Family come together and eat sweets and Diwali snacks (faral) at home. Women make rangoli in the passage of their home. Godess Lakshmi is worshipped at home. Children burst firecrackers during Diwali. People meet and greet their friends and loved ones. People buy new things on this occasion. Diwali makes everyone happy and joyous.
